4. Measures 31 – 34
The only real difficulty in these measures is making the sudden piano after the third-beat forte. Practise by adding an extra beat before the piano to give yourself time to plan. Try to illustrate in your playing the progressively widening leaps to the forte chords on the third beat of each measure. Measures 33 – 34 conceal a clever imitation between the hands, which you may like to bring out in your playing. These two simplifications make the imitation clear: 5.
