Dropping into The Keyboard and Balancing on a Finger

From the lap we bring the arm up as loosely and freely as possible to the keyboard, dropping into the keyboard on a selected finger. We balance on the key without pressing (a fault known as key-bedding). The wrist is loose, yet elastic and stable. Check in with your body, and the breath. When we land in the key with the 5th finger, we align the arm naturally behind the finger.
