How to Use Hanon Effectively (Part 2)

In the previous video, we used lateral adjustments in the wrist to align the arm behind the playing finger. In this video, we look at how to convert this motion into a wrist circle by hoisting up and round on the 5th finger to generate propulsion back to the thumb. Instead of straight lines, we create circles (or, more correctly, ellipses) that keep us loose and coordinated as we move through the patterns of notes.
